Brooklyn Center Community Schools

We are a 501c3 non profit enrichment center. Our goal is to provide a safe space for youth and their families to learn and connect to their community. Our aim is to bring intentional programs and events to youth and their families and build community connections. 

Fall Evening Program Details: 

• Young Kings Corner Boys Group - This program offers mentorship for young boys coming of age, connecting them with male mentors who reflect their cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Day: Wednesdays

Time: 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Grades: 4-5

• I AM HER Girls Group - This program offers group mentoring for young girls coming of age, connecting them with sheroes past and present who reflect their cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We identify character traits and create local service learning projects based on the sheroes who changed the world.

Day: Thursdays

Time: 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Grades: 4-5

• LIT Girls - This program aims to connect girls interested in leadership to women in the community and provide them with a community who supports, educates and connects them to leadership opportunities based on their passions and goals.

Day: Mondays

Time: 6:00 -7:30pm

Grades: 6-12

Intentional Youth Hangout: The Intentions Enrichment Center will offer a safe place for an intentional hang out. Come be social with friends and receive leadership and STEM opportunities to spark new interests. 

Day: Tuesdays

Time: 3:30pm -6:30pm
